Auburn Golf Course Club House
- Owner: City of Auburn
The new 14,400 SF clubhouse with high vaulted ceilings included a restaurant and full basement constructed of wood and concrete. The 5,900 SF at-grade, wood-framed building supports the full basement of cast-in-place concrete construction and a 2,800 square-foot canopy. Creative use of a thick gravel mat beneath reinforced concrete conventional spread footings provided an economical means for building on this site of settlement-prone soils. Structural services included assisting contractor during construction, including review of shop drawings, field visits, and responding to contractor’s questions.
